Workspace Error "HTTP ERROR 500"

Dear @Sergiy,
Our MTF colleagues are currently collecting data in more than seven countries. The survey firm working on the Nigeria and Liberia projects has reported that the Workspace for the Niggeria and Liberia surveys are returning an “HTTP ERROR 500” message.

The issue appears to be limited to the Nigeria and Liberia workspaces, as other workspaces on the same server are functioning normally. According to the team, this problem started recently and is affecting ongoing data collection activities.
Do you think this is something that can be handled internally, or should I reach out to ITS for assistance?

Dear @asmelash ,
Could you please provide the Survey Solutions log files? Please send them as a archive file via email or in a private message.

Error 500 indicates a server error. So server logs must be inspected for determining the nature of the problem.

Depends on what is causing the issue.

Note also that when attempting the URLs you’ve mentioned in your message I am getting a different content (see screenshots below).

It is still an error, and it is still 500, but it is not clear to me why would the page present itself differently for different viewers.

Thanks @vfedoseev I will share the audit log via email

Thanks @sergiy ,
Interestingly, after receiving your message, I tried opening the link using different browsers and encountered different error messages. Microsoft Edge returned the same error that you reported, while Chrome displayed “HTTP ERROR 500.”

In addition, I noticed a new issue when attempting to open the Diagnostics tab on the server (see the screenshot below).
