Uploading More Than 1000 Categories

Hi,
I have an application that needs to be uploaded with more than a 1000 categories, but it only allows 250 categories, In our Country there is more than a thousand Wards which needs to be uploaded. Because the Survey covers the whole country, every where.
Is there a way we can upload more than 1000 categories for those wards?

Thank you for your question. Could you please provide a bit more detail about the issue you are facing? In the meantime, here are the two possible scenarios based on your description:

1 If the ward is an identifying question (pre‑loaded on the cover page): If the ward is an identifying field that should be pre‑filled during assignment creation, you can change the question type to a text question and preload the ward name or code directly in the assignments.

  1. If the ward is a question to be answered by the respondent: In this case, you can set the question’s display mode to Combo Box in the Questionnaire Designer. Then you can upload the list of wards (value + title) from an Excel or TAB file.

If the list of wards needs to be filtered by region or district, you can also use a cascading combo box structure (e.g., Region → District → Ward).
