Supervisor App: Assignments do not leave outbox

Dear all,

I have an urgent issue for wich so far I could not find a solution in the forum.
We are conducting a data collection and are using both, the interviewer and the supervisor
App. Both apps are using the same version and were downloaded from our server, so I would assume the server version matches the app versions.

The issue is the following: Once - using a headquarter account- an assignment was done to a supervisor, the task/assigment shows up on the app as task to assign”. Once assigned, the task moves to the outbox, but does never leave the outbox. No matter how often the app is synchonised.
The weird thing is, that using the supervisor account through the browser (web-application) works without any problems, so here assignments can be sent and received. The interviewer app can also be used to sent completed assignments to the supervisor (but only the web-account, not the app).

Any ideas? Let me know should you need any further information.
Thank you already for reaching out!

@paulmich, please see earlier discussion:

Thank you very much! Just to make sure I understood it correctly:

The Supervisor App is not meant for vertical sync to the inteviewer app, i.e. to send assignments
to the interviewer App via the server (Supervisor App → (Internet/Server) → Interviewer App).
Instead, the idea is to use a horizontal sync via bluetooth/wifi between supervisor tablet and interviewer tablets to send out the assignments from Supervisor App to Interviewer App. Is this correct?

So the only way to do assignments from supervisor to interviewer via the server/internet is using the web-application?

Thank you very much for claryfying, and sorry for double-posting.

Yes, to pick up the assigned assignments/interviews the interviewer working in an autonomous team synchronizes (horizontally) with the supervisor.

This is normal. The interviewers that didn’t join the autonomous team (didn’t uncheck Allow synchronization with Headquarters) will continue to send their data to the server. Correspondingly, the supervisor will need to log in to the server as well to manage their assignments and interviews.

Perfect, thank you very much @sergiy!
