We are dealing with a big deployment. We have configured SuSo behind a load balancer that distributes the load between a set of SuSo instances.
The question is : under this scenario, is it necessary to configure “sticky session” options in the load balancer ?

No, it’s optional and it depends on your infrastructure.
Load balancing could be implemented using different tools not only IIS and Farm mode.
But we need sticky session to process requests correctly.
