Restrict question in multiselect roster

Dear Survey Solutions Community!

I am preparing an Agricultural Survey and am trying to limit unnecessary repitions for interviewers as much as possible. I am hoping you could help me with the following:
I have a crop roster (multi-select) within a plot roster (list question), in which I ask for the unit of production per crop. If the question is already answered for a crop, I don’t want to ask it again if the crop is also produced on another plot. How can I ask for the unit question only when a crop is mentioned for the first time?

Hello @KKrumbiegel ,

afaik, you can’t condition a question on itself (even in a different roster item). It is also not necessarily the case that the earlier question (chronologically) is the question that appears ‘higher’ in the list.

Recommendation: first ask the list of cultivated crops and preferred units, then use the preferred units in subsequent detailed production questions.
