Randomizing sections or whole surveys

Hi!

I am new here. I have seen some debate on this topic here but not exactly what I am needing.

I have 5 sections: A, B, C, D and E. With these, I need to create 3 different combinations that end up generating 3 different surveys. (A,B,C,D,E & B,C,D,E,A & C,D,E,A,B)

I need to randomize which of these 3 different surveys show up at the end. Any idea how to do this?

If you’re randomizing the questionnaire that a respondent receives, here’s a suggestion that may work:

  • Create one questionnaire per combination
  • Randomly assign each respondent one of the questionnaires. This be done by including a respondent’s details in the assignment file for a particular quesitonniare.
