Polyline Survey in Map Dashboard

Good day,

According to the article created here https://support.mysurvey.solutions/interviewer/app/map-dashboard/ , one can now click on Point features in the map dashboard to fill a survey form.

I am wondering if it possible to do so for a polyline feature as well (namely a segment of a road in a map) which may have a missing road name. Can one click on the road segment to enter the road name in a survey form? If so, would the road segment change colour as well to indicate completion?

Is it possible to do both point and polyline survey data collection outdoors in map dashboard?

Could someone please advise?

Thank you,
Trudi

Is this for the Nigeria Roadwork Study?

The polyline is a question type which allows the interviewer to draw on the map.
Nothing related to selection there.

Is it possible to do both point and polyline survey data collection outdoors in map dashboard?

Map dashboard shows the interviews’ and assignments’ location only. But pointing to points and to segments is possible on separate maps.

Hi Sergiy,

No its the Barbados road network.

During census, we would like to collect both building/household and road information. Currently, we are able to select a building point and complete a census survey. With regard to roads with missing names, we would want to click on a road segment and enter road name information during census as well.
Could you explain how this could be done ?

“But pointing to points and to segments is possible on separate maps”. Could you this clarify further?

A geography question can be either points or segments. So you will not see both on the same map.

That’s, probably, map editing task for the GIS officer in HQ, not for the enumerators.
