User William Mackovak has sent us this question:
I just starting playing around with Survey Solutions and have developed some simple test instruments. It seems that the basic design relies on a single scrolling page with headers for the different sections. Is there a way to display one question at a time and to do away with the vertical scrolling? Thank you.
This question is asked over and over again, and has been discussed in this forum in the articles:
Some other CAPI tools I’ve seen have had the actual interviewer interface work so there is only one question at a time on the tablet screen, and the interviewer swipes right or hits a “next” button to get the next question. The aim is to focus them on one question at a time and reduce any little decisions or fine motor control needed during the interview. Is there a way to do this with the interface for Survey Solutions? Or is it perhaps a deliberate decision not to do this, but to let the in…
Hello !
please how can i do to display one question per screen,
Using the Survey Solutions Designer, is it possible to display one question at a time while administering the survey with a tablet? Currently all my “required” questions are displayed on one screen that you need to scroll down as you ask questions in succession. Ideally I would like one question on the screen and when the response is recorded, it would bring the user to the next question. Thank you.
and possibly other.
Best, Sergiy

That would be a pretty cool option, especially for shorter surveys
