Number of housholds in a home

Hello ! I am trying to put together a question that allows me to differentiate the number of households in a home, and for each household to have a different questionnaire with the same code, but that can distinguish them, , in the data base, according to the household number. Is it possible?

If several households are in the same home, than you can ask for the number of households with a numeric question. That would be sufficient to record this information, but in practice the answer may depend on whom you are asking (why would a member of household 1 bother to mention any other household?).

The rest of your inquiry I don’t understand.

Thanks for your answer!
I´ll try to make simple the other part of my inquiry:
My research subject are households, by I´d like to disinguish the different households and the properties of each member from every households.
For example:
In house 1 I have two housholds.
Household 1 has 3 members (Two adults and one child)
Household 2 has 1 member (One adult)
I want to have The same ID for both households but in different questionaries (and then I can distiguished them by the question of number of households). Is it possible?

If the allocation of households to dwellings is known before fieldwork, preload a hidden variable with the dwelling id from your sample and create separate assignments for each household.

If the allocation of households to dwellings is not known before fieldwork, then I see two alternatives:

A) the questionnaire should allow a possibility of acquiring all households in the dwelling (roster) and then all members in each household (nested roster), or

B) the first questionnaire establishes the number of households in this dwelling and terminates. As the completed interviews on this questionnaire are received in the HQ, new assignments are then created using a questionnaire for each household (carrying forward the dwelling and household identification questionnaire).
