Latest interviewer app not compatible with the server but data has already been collected using the latest version of the app.How is this sorted so that data is not lost?

When you say “latest Interviewer app”, do you mean that’s available on your server? If you got the Interviewer app installation file from another server that is using a different version of Survey Solutions, that could explain your issue.

This usually happens if the server version is lower than version installed on the device.
It could happened if the interviewer application was obtained not from the own server but from another newer installation or the server application was downgraded.

The wording of the message is not entirely clarifying the problem, and could be improved, hence:

The interviewers upgraded the app version from v24 to v25 hence the app has not been compatible with the server that was created before the upgrade of the interviewer app

Exactly the point but then the interviewer application was obtained from the same server only that the interviewers upgraded the app from v24 to 25 using the diagnostic part in the app
