First time posting here so please let me know if I’m doing something wrong.
The surveys we conduct have multiple language choices. I am trying to pull out interview language information from Survey Solutions (i.e. which language was used during the interview) but could not find it. Is it stored anywhere in the database?

An interview may be completed in several languages, such as could be the case when different family members have preferences for different languages for the interview.
You can find the language switches events in the paradata stream, event coded 28 is “Translation switched”, see here: Paradata file format
You should not rely on the value you see in the interface when you are reviewing the interview as an HQ, since it may have been already changed by the supervisor, or by the interviewer after the conversation.
Thank you sergiy for providing a clear explanation. That’s very helpful.
My colleague actually told me about the paradata and hence I deleted the topic before anyone replied. I have undeleted the topic so that I can thank you, and also anyone who has the same question in the future can benefit from this.
