How the HQ or Supervisor can change the password of interviewer?

Hello Survey Solutions team,

How the HQ or Supervisor can change the password of interviewer?

My headquarters wants to change an interviewer’s password, but cannot see the button or menu to change it.

Thanks for your help.

Indeed, this is a delicate issue. With the introduction of the possibility of an interviewer being part of several workspaces, he may be subordinate to different HQ users, and one of them may become very unhappy, if another HQ, whom he may not even know, has changed the password of one of his interviewers. So the admin must reset the password for that user from now on.

This has been a recent change. If there are still pages showing a supervisor/hq may reset the password of an interviewer, please add a link here, so I will revise them accordingly.

Thanks for your help and explanation.
You are right, if an interviewer can belong to multiple workspaces, then HQs or supervisors should not have the power to change the password under this scenario.

Thanks.

Dear @kv700032 ,

the page: Interviewer Password Reset has been updated to reflect the recent changes. Thank you for pointing out.

Best, Sergiy

@kv700032 and Colleagues!

please take note that due to multiple requests we are giving back the limited power to the HQ to reset the interviewer account password in the version 23.04 that has just been released today. It is limited in that sense that the HQ can only reset the password if he/she fully controls the interviewer (in all workspaces that the interviewer has access to). If not - it is still a matter that must be resolved by the administrator user.

So in the simplest case of a single workspace - the behavior is same as it used to be ages ago, the HQ can reset the password, but in case of multiple workspaces - the program will determine this based on the multitude of workspace access permissions of both users.

Thanks for sharing with us this information, I think it is a good decision that the administrator is in charge of changing the password when an interviewer belongs to multiple workspaces with different HQs.
