Yes. The interview document can be modified for example if it gets rejected by the supervisor to the interviewer some time after the visit and the interviewer captures (or re-captures) the location, which is at that moment not necessarily related to the household.
“…is there a datetime stamp associated with the GPS separate from the interview questions?”
Yes, every answer to every question is timestamped in the paradata and the acquired timestamp is also saved in the main data in q__Timestamp variable (where q is the variable name given to the GPS question in the Designer).
