Is it possible to display the result of a macro in a validation error message in a similar way that we can display variables (e.g. %variable%). If not, is there a workaround for this?
A macro may not be used in text substitutions.
Two follow-up questions, @sergiy:
- Could you remind what type of text substitution is possible in error messages?
- Are there any technical limitations on what could be substituted into the error message?
