Proposal
To help those with a goodly number of reusable options find the right one, provide a combo-box style selector.
With 12 sets of reusable categories, I’m starting to face some friction in finding what I need:
Affected subsystems
Designer
Users
For those with few reusable answer options, not much of a difference. One could still select from a drop-down list without any filtering.
For those with several reusable categories options, it would lead to faster selection and fewer mistakes in selection (e.g., selecting an option with a similar name but different content).
Alternatives
Search for the right reausable categories option manually–potentially, with some scrolling.
