CAWI bulk survey link delivery

Hi everyone:

I am implementing bulk delivery of CAWI survey links. After creating the assignments, Survey Solutions indicates the total number of assignments created. Then, after sending invitation links, Survey Solutions indicates the number of invitations successfully sent. I realize that not all the assignments created are successfully sent with the links. My challenge is that I am unable to identify which assignments were not delivered to survey participants. Does someone know a way to identify these failed invitations in Survey Solutions? Thanks.

“Not sent” is not the same as “Not delivered”.

To which I can add that this is not exhaustive, as e.g. rate control measures may also result in messages not being sent.

Can you provide any more details??

bug in: headquarters web-interviewing

**Describe the issue** Program reports an incorrect number of invitation emails… that were sent out. **What steps will reproduce the problem?** 1. Create two web-assignments for two different recipients in a web survey. 2. Select `Send invitations` for that survey from the context menu in `Survey Setup` --> `Questionnaires` 3. Observe *exhibit A* 4. Click `SEND 2 INVITATIONS` 5. When the process completes, observe *exhibit B* reporting that only 1 invitation was sent and no errors occurred in the process. 6. Click `BACK TO SURVEY SETUP` and then again `Send invitations`. 7. Observe *exhibit C* indicating 2 invitations were sent. **What is the expected result?** In B the total should coincide with the number indicated in A, for any intended invitation the result should be success or error. **What happens instead?** Totals do not match (`2!=1`) Both invitations are actually sent out. Observed with [SMTP engine for sending](https://docs.mysurvey.solutions/headquarters/cawi/email-providers-smtp/). Yes, these explain exactly my experience, except I could not attach shots: A number of invitations are created to be sent (exhibit A), and after invitations are sent by clicking “send invitations”, the count shows not all were successfully sent (exhibit B). Yet, exhibit C shows all invitations have been sent already! Wondering if there is a way to trace if all were actually sent!

In my trial it was possible to check the 2 mailboxes where the messages were sent and both invitations were delivered. Whether this is always true or only sometimes, I don’t know, unfortunately.
